Widespread Frost

The coldest air of the season will come into the area tonight. So, bring in any plants that you may have outside. Saturday will be a great fall day with sunny skies and temps in the 50's. Sunday will be a warmer day, but there will be a chance for a morning shower.

A Frost Advisory is in effect for the city of Boston an the south shore for tonight.

A Freeze Warning is in effect elsewhere.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear with widespread frost. Lows near 34 in Boston, 32 in JP and 27 in the suburbs.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high of 55. West wind of 10-20 MPH.

Saturday night: Increasing clouds with rain showers late. Lows in the mid 40's.

Sunday: Scattered showers early, then partly sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 60's.

Tropics: TD Patty has formed, but it will be short lived. Also, TS Rafael is near the Leeward Islands. Stay tuned for more details!
