Heat Advisory

The hottest weather since last summer will surge into New England over the next few days. The warmest day appears to be Wednesday, but Thursday will be slightly more humid. And, it will feel over 100 on both days. Then, finally a cold front will come thru on Friday with powerful T-storms possible.

 A Heat Advisory is in effect for the Boston area from noon to7 PM Wednesday.

Boston Forecast:

Tonight: Partly cloudy and becoming muggy. Low 67.

Wednesday: Hazy, hot and humid. High 97..Heat index as high as of 105 in the afternoon. West wind wind of 10-20 MPH. Summer arrives at 709 PM!

Wednesday night: Hazy and humid. Warm with lows in the mid 70's .

Thursday: Sunny and hot. Highs in the upper 90's again. Heat index as high as 107 in the afternoon.

Friday: Partly sunny with scattered severe storms late. Highs around 90.

Saturday: Showers possible. Cooler with highs in the upper 70's.

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the 80's.

Tropics: Tropical storm Chris has formed in the Atlantic 100's of miles to the east of New England .It will continue to move away from land over the next few days.
