Wild Night

The storm has arrived finally giving us the rain we need. It will also bring us strong winds late tonight along with the downpours. The rain will taper off by mid morning, and the sun may come out late in the day. After that each day will be similar, with temps closer to normal.

Alerts: A Flood Watch is in effect for the area
A Wind Advisory is in effect south of Boston.

Boston Forecast:

Tonight: Heavy rain. Windy with temps near 45 this evening will rise to 52 by dawn. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH, shifting to SE and increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH late. Rainfall of 1-2 inches expected.

Monday: Rain until 10 AM, then partly sunny. Windy with a high of 62. SE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH in the morning, then decreasing to 15-20 MPH in the afternoon. Total rainfall between 1.5-3 inches expected.

Monday night: Partly cloudy with lows in the mid 40's.

Tuesday:Partly sunny with an isolated PM shower. Highs around 60.

Wednesday: Partly sunny again with an isolated shower. Highs in the upper 50's.

Thursday: Sunny with a shower possible. Highs in the 50's

Friday: Rain possible. Highs in the 50's.

US Weather: A major wet snowstorm is expected in western PA and NY with over a FOOT of snow in places.
