A storm system will ride thru the area tonight leading to a wintry mix to rain. However, the sun should come out in the afternoon allowing temps to rise into the 50's. Sunday should be dry and cooler.

Boston Forecast:

Tonight: Rain mixed with wet snow. Temps around 30 this evening will rise to 38 by dawn. No snow accumulation expected.

Saturday: Rain showers with scattered downpours in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. High 52. SE wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH, shifting to west in the afternoon.

Saturday night: Clearing with lows in the low 30's.

Sunday: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 40's.

Boston Weather: With the snow total of 1.4 at Logan with this last storm, it pushes the grand total to 9.1 inches for the season. The least snowy winter on record of 1936-37 of 9.0 inches still stands.
