Damp Monday

Cold air in place first thing in the morning may lead to freezing drizzle and a few slippery spots, especially NW of the city. However, temps will quickly rise above freezing across the area leading to just regular drizzle by late morning. More heavier showers will move in Monday night. Then, most of the week will be above average.

Alerts: A Freezing Rain Advisory in effect NW of Boston until 10 AM Monday.

Boston Forecast:

Tonight: Cloudy with patchy drizzle and freezing drizzle late. Low 31.

Monday: Drizzle with areas of freezing drizzle until 9 AM, then fog, mist and drizzle. High 43. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Monday night: Showers with scattered downpours. Near steady temps in the 40's. SE wind of 15-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Tuesday: Becoming sunny and warmer. Highs around 50.

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the mid 40's.

Thursday: Increasing clouds with highs around 40. Snow is possible at night.

Friday: Clearing with highs in the 30's.
