Snow Thursday?

After the rain comes to an end this evening, temps will fall into the 40's by morning. Then a weak system will come thru late in the day on Thursday. As that happens, colder air will be rushing in and the raindrops may switch to snowflakes before ending-no accumulation is expected. Then, another cold but sunny day is in store for Friday. It will warm up again for the weekend.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Showers this evening, then scattered showers after midnight. Low 48.

Thursday: Cloudy until 2 PM, then rain showers possibly mixed with wet snow. Temps near 48 in the morning will fall to 40 by dusk. NW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Thursday night: Scattered rain showers possibly mixed with snow until 9 PM, then some clearing. Lows around 30.

Friday: Sunny and cold. Highs in the upper 40's.

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the mid 50's.

Sunday: Increasing clouds with highs in the 60's.

Extra: Stay tuned for my 2011-12 Winter forecast over Thanksgiving break!
