Fall begins at 505 AM on Friday! Fall will start out wet as a storm stalled to our west will bring periods of rain over the next few days. The heaviest rain will be late Friday into Saturday, I'm hopeful that it will dry out some by Sunday.
Alert: A Flood Watch is in effect for the Boston area until 8 PM Saturday.
Boston Forecast:
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a shower possible. Areas of fog with a low of 65.
Friday: Scattered showers in the morning, then rain in the afternoon. High 71. SE wind of 10-15 MPH.
Friday night: Heavy rain. Muggy with lows in the mid 60's. SE wind of 10-15 MPH.
Saturday: Heavy rain until 10 AM, then showers. Highs in the low 70's. Total rainfall of 1-3 inches possible.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy with highs in the mid 70's.
Tropics: TS Ophelia has winds of 65 MPH. It will pass north of the DR this weekend.
