Wet Weekend

A front will stall around the area thru the weekend leading to periodic showers and thunderstorms. The steadiest rain will be late Saturday night into Sunday morning, then partial clearing could lead to some big boomers late Sunday. A cool and wet pattern will hang around thru early next week.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a low of 60.

Saturday: Cloudy with scattered showers until 4 PM, then showers. Cooler with a high of 62. East wind of 10-20 MPH.

Saturday night: Showers with scattered thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 50's. East wind of 10-20 MPH.

Sunday: Showers with scattered thunderstorms until 9 AM, then partial clearing with isolated severe thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 60's.

Monday: Cloudy with scattered showers. Still cool with highs around 70.

Tropics: Hurricane Adrian in the East Pacific now has winds of 110 MPH. It is expected to stay out to sea as it weakens. The Atlantic Basin remains quiet for now.
