Warm and humid air will continue to surge into New England this holiday weekend. While Southern New England will be mainly dry, in northern New England there will be a threat of Severe Thunderstorms and even isolated Tornadoes. Keep an eye to the sky there during the afternoons and take shelter if a storm approaches. The cold front will come thru the Boston area on Memorial Day with some nasty storms possible here.
Alerts: A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect south of Boston.
A Tornado Watch is in effect tonight for Vermont.
Boston, MA forecast:
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with areas of fog. Low 62.
Friday: Areas of fog before 9 AM, otherwise hazy and humid. High 85. South wind of 15-20 MPH.
Friday night: Partly cloudy with areas of fog. Lows around 60.
Saturday: Hazy and humid. Highs in the mid 80's.
Sunday: Hazy, hot and humid with highs around 90.
Memorial Day: Hazy sun with a strong PM thunder threat. Highs around 90.
