Home for the Summer!

I have returned home for the summer, and the sun finally came out today as temps went into the 60's. On Saturday low clouds and fog should lead to some sunshine by afternoon with a small risk of a shower or storm. A backdoor cold front will come in on Saturday night leading to another cool and cloudy day on Sunday. It should warm up early next week as a warm front comes thru.

Alert: A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9 AM Saturday for the Boston area.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Low clouds and fog with mist and drizzle possible. Low 48.

Saturday: Low clouds and fog in the morning, then partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs near 64 in Boston, 67 in JP and 72 inland. SE wind of 10-20 MPH. Visibility 1/4 of a mile or less possible before 9 AM.

Saturday night: Low clouds and fog come back into the area. Lows in the upper 40's.

Sunday: Low clouds and fog with mist and drizzle in the morning, then mostly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 50's. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Monday: Scattered showers in the morning as a warm front comes thru. Should dry out in the afternoon as temps rise into the mid 70's.

Extra: Stay tuned for my 2011 Atlantic Hurricane Season Special next weekend!
