Spring started at 721 PM this evening! However, a weak storm will come in from the west on Monday, and with some cold in place the precip will start as snow. In the Boston area a coating or so is possible on grassy areas before it changes to light rain in the early afternoon. After a sunny and warmer Tuesday, another and stronger storm will make a close pass to the area on Wednesday night. A few inches of snow is possible-stay tuned for more updates as we get closer.

Boston, MA forecast:
Tonight: Happy Spring! Increasing clouds with a low of 30.
Monday: Snow arriving at 10 AM and changing to rain at 2 PM. High 40. SE wind of 15-25 MPH. A coating of snow is possible on grassy surfaces.
Monday night: Light rain showers, drizzle and mist until 7 PM, then clearing. Lows around 30.
Tuesday: Sunny and warmer. Windy with highs in the upper 40's.
Wednesday: Increasing clouds with highs in the upper 30's. Snow is likely at night with a few inches possible.
Thursday: Snow possible in the morning depending on the track of the storm. Highs in the mid 30's. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer!
Friday: Clearing and still cold. Highs around 40.
US Weather: A powerful storm has been effecting California with heavy rain and mountain snow. Over 3 FT of snow has fallen, and wind gusts to 100 MPH have been recorded near the coast. Over 3 inches of rain has fallen in the hills around LA, causing dangerous mudslides.
