No big storms

A warm front will come through the area Tomorrow along with scattered snow showers. After a warmup on Monday with a few drops, Tuesday will be back to reality. Then, temps may soar well into the 50's by the end of the week.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Clearing with lows in the teens.

Sunday: Cloudy with scattered snow showers around midday. High 35. South wind of 10-15 MPH. A coating is possible in some spots.

Sunday night: Cloudy with temps holding around freezing.

Monday: Cloudy with scattered rain showers and warmer. Highs in the 40's.

Tuesday: The last cold day of the week. Sunny with highs in the mid 20's.

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the low 40's.

Extended: The cold pattern will finally break briefly, sending warmer into the NE. Temps close to 60 are possible by the end of the week.

  1. Weather's not as interesting without the big snow storms. The piles are starting to melt around JP. Do you think we'll get another big one or two before winter is over?

  2. After the warmup late next week, its probable that we will go back to another cold period. Along with the below normal temps there will be a chance of a few more winter storms before mid March. Of course, long range forecasts are tough to pinpoint, so my confidence is very low.
