Light Mix

A big storm will mainly go out to sea, but a front to the west will come through providing us with a little precip out ahead of it. In the early afternoon as the front comes through some snow squalls are possible. Then, arctic and windy conditons are expected.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Light rain and snow mixed. Low 34. SW wind around 10 MPH. No new snow expecteed.

Tuesday: Rain and snow showers until 10 AM, then scattered snow squalls. Temps near 34 in the morning, but falling to 28 by dark. Winds shifting to west at 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH. Around an inch of snow expected.

Tuesday night: Windy and very cold. Clearing with lows around 8. West winds gusting over 40 MPH.

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the mid 20's.

Thursday: Sunny and cold with highs around 20.

Friday: Watching an ocean storm-at this point it looks to go out to sea. Highs in the mid 20's.

US Weather: On Saturday night we had an intense thunderstorm come through PSU. I saw lightning and went outside and light rain turned to pounding hailstones and gusty winds. Lightning struck very close to the campus.
