Cold Playoff Game

Cold air has come into New England behind the storm, as today held in the mid 20's. Saturday evening a warm front will come through providing us with a little light snow-but nothing compared to the storm we just had. Temps will be in the 20's for the pats playoff game against the Jets. The next major storm will come in on Tuesday and the precip type is still in question.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Clear and frigid. Lows near 10 in Boston, 7 in JP and below 0 in the coldest suburbs.

Saturday: Fading sunshine until 3 PM, then snow showers. High 28. SW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Saturday night: Snow showers in the evening, then partial clearing. Lows in the mid 20's. Total snow amounts of a coating to an inch possible.

Sunday: Mainly sunny with highs in around 30. Temps falling thru the 20's for the pats game.

Sunday night: Clear with lows in the single digits.

MLK day: Increasing clouds with highs in the upper 20's.

Tuesday: Another ocean storm will effect the region with heavy precip and strong winds. Highs in the 30's. I will watch this storm closely because I am worried for the possibility of a damaging ice storm in parts of the area.

US weather: Every state except for Florida has at least a trace of snow on the ground. Even Hawaii has a few inches on top of their highest mountain.
