As expected, the trough set up over SW CT- where over a foot of snow fell this afternoon. Here in Boston, we have had some ocean effect snows, but it hasn't amounted to much. The band from CT will come through late tonight, in a weakened form. It will put down a an inch or 2 into Saturday morning. Then, another storm on its heels will pass close to the area Saturday night, providing the area with more snow. The exact track is still in question, but it seems the heaviest snow will be south of the city.
