Off To Vermont

Tomorrow we are headed to Trapp Family lodge for Christmas break to go skiing. Before that, snow will continue into Thursday morning amounting to a few inches. The snow will continue through the morning commute, so I would leave extra time to get to work and school. Dry weather will move in to the area for Christmas Eve and Day. Then, a major nor'easter is possible on the 26th into the 27th. If it looks like we will have significant snow I will update from Stowe.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Periods of snow. Low 29. NW wind of 15-20 MPH. (Snow amounts on Thurs)

Thursday: Snow until 10 AM, then cloudy. High 37. North wind of 15-25 MPH. Total snow amounts of 1-3 inches expected. We head to Stowe, VT for break.

Thursday night: Some clearing with lows in the mid 20's.

Friday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30's.

Christmas Day: Sunny with highs in the low 30's. Merry Christmas everyone!

Sunday: Increasing clouds as a storm makes a close pass to New England. Highs around 30. Snow and wind possible overnight into Monday. I will update as necessary from Trapp's.

US weather:
6 FEET of lake effect snow has buried Syracuse, NY over the past few weeks.
