Hurricane Igor has intisfied into a Cat 4 with winds of 150 MPH. It is a monster storm, it would cover an area from Dallas, TX to Washington DC. Currently, the storm is about 750 miles east of the Leeward islands as it moves west at around 10 MPH. It may become a Cat 5 ( 156 MPH+) over the next day or so, before it turns to the NW and weakens slowly. It is expected to head towards Bermuda this weekend. All signs point to Igor turning NE from Bermuda and heading out to sea on Sunday, but I can't be certain at this early stage. Stay tuned throughout the week.
Showers and storms are coming through the Boston area as of 7 PM, but it will clear out by tomorrow afternoon. Then, cooler air comes into New England for the rest of the week. A soaking rain may come in on Friday.
