Happy Labor Day!

Happy Labor day, the unoffical end of summer. The first offical day of fall is on September 22. Today was a great day in the Boston area and up here in Plymouth, NH as well. After a warm up tomorrow a cold front comes through on Wednesday bringing showers along with a few rumbles of thunder.


Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy. Lows near 61 in Boston, 59 in JP and 52 in the suburbs.

Tuesday: Partly sunny. High 86. SW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear early, then increasing clouds. lows around 60.

Wednesday: Cloudy with scattered showers after 9 AM. Humid with highs in the mid 80's.

Thursday: Cloudy and cool with scattered showers. Highs around 70.

Friday: A mainly cloudy day. Highs in the upper 60's.

Tropics: Tropical Storm Hermine made landfall tonight along the Texas/Mexico border with winds of 65 MPH. It is expeted to dump heavy rain that may cause flooding.

  1. Tom just got back from Korea where there was a typhoon - how is that different from a hurricane or tropical storm?

  2. Great question! A typhoon is just like a Hurricane or Tropical Storm. The only difference is that it is called a typhoon in the West Pacific Ocean. Was there a lot of damage in Korea?
