HURRICANE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE CAPE AND THE ISLANDS TONIGHT. Hurricane Earl is now expected to pass around 60 miles east of Nantucket tonight bringing hurricane wind gusts to the Cape and nantucket. However, in Boston some rain and wind is expected-but for a short time. It will quickly move on tomorrow morning and make landfall in Canada.

Tonight: Tropical storm condtions on the south shore. Hurricane conditions on the cape and Nantucket. Showers. Winds gusting as high as 70 MPH on the cape and nantucket-but 40 MPH in Boston.
Saturday: Clearing and windy. High 83, NW wind of 20-30 MPH. Waves between 10-12 FT.
Saturday night: Clear, lows in the 50's.
Sunday: Sunny with highs in the mid 70's.
Labor day: Partly to mostly Sunny with highs around 80.
