We returned home this morning to a classic nor'easter already underway. According to my mom and brother- who did not go on the trip-the rain and wind started on Sunday afternoon. The rain has been on and off ever since, and the wind continues to gust over 30 MPH here in Boston, but higher on the Cape and islands.
Alert: A HIGH SURF ADVISORY is in effect for the coastline for waves between 12-15 FT.

Wednesday: Periodic rain showers continue as the wind slackens a bit. High 66. NE wind of 15-20 MPH. We have tickets to the Red Sox at 130- I am confident the game will be played.

Thursday: The nor'easter moves offshore bringing in warmer temps and some clearing. Highs in the upper 70's with a risk of a PM thunderstorm.

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the mid 80's.
Tropics: Hurricane Danielle has formed in the central Atlantic with winds of 80 MPH. The center is expected to head towards Bermuda as a major Hurricane, but pass well east of New England early next week. However, we still should keep an eye on the storm just in case the track shifts.
