Dry air ahead

A cold front came through this afternoon with showers. However, the stronger storms were south of New England. Behind the front is dry air from Canada. Although it will still be warm, it will feel better on Monday and Tuesday. One hot and humid day this week will be Wednesday, before comfy air moves back in for the end of the week.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Clearing with lows near 67 Downtown, 64 in JP and 58 in Westwood.

Monday: A great day with sunny skies and low humidity. High 86. NW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Monday night: Clear, with lows in the 60's.

Tuesday: Sunny and warmer, but still low humidity. Highs around 90.

Wednesday: Partly to mostly sunny and humid. Highs in the mid 90's.

Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms likely in the morning, then clearing. Highs in the mid 80's.

Friday: Sunny, with highs in the upper 70's.

Tropics: The tropics are expected to remain quiet through this week, but will become very active by the middle of August.

  1. Friday it will be in the 70s! That's practically winter these days.
