There is a lot of damage throughout the Boston area. A macroburst came through Framingham, Watertown, Newton, Brookline and Boston on Sunday afternoon. Winds gusted as high as 80 MPH throughout the area. A macroburst is when the winds come down to the ground and spread out from the thunderstorm. Unlike a Tornado, when winds a circular around the storm. Many trees came down throughout the area, including some right in front of the statehouse. More trees came down in Coolidge Corner in Brookline. At one point a
Tornado Warning was in effect for Boston. I was in Plymouth, NH for my college orientation Sunday afternoon, so I missed the storms. Does anyone know what happened here in JP?
