Many roads are rivers and backyards are ponds throughout the region. Many rivers and ponds have record floods including Jamaica Pond, which is way over its banks. The pond is over the wall in most areas as trees are way underwater. The path is also underwater, and some ducks are swimming along the path. The water also has reached most benches, including by the dock where the wall is the highest. The water also reaches the grass in some areas. It does not quite reach Perkins St., but it is not that far away. The water has receded in the other ponds in the area. But Jamaica pond still has to drain into it, so they will likely rise again. The ponds will start to recede in the next 12-18 hours. Thankfully, Easter weekend will be great with sunny skies and highs around 80 both days.
