The storm, remnants of Ida, is a little delayed coming in, and as a result the steady rain won't start until 11pm or midnight. The rain will continue all day Saturday and Saturday night, heavy at times. Up to 2 inches of rain can be expected in most areas. The wind will gust to 55 MPH on the Cape and the islands, and 40 MPH in Boston. Expect beach erosion and some splashover at high tide, as waves up to 15 feet can be expected.

Tonight: Cloudy with sprinkles until midnight, except rain on the cape. Then rain will overspread the rest of the area. Near steady temps around 50. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 45 on the cape, and 30 MPH in Boston and the north shore.
Saturday: Periods of rain. Windy. Highs in the 50's. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts over 35 in Boston and 55 on the Cape and islands. Up to 2 inches of rain can be expected.
Saturday night: Rain until 11 PM, then showers continuing. Lows in the 40's. Winds decreasing to 15-25 MPH with gusts over 30 MPH along the coast.
Sunday: Cloudy with a chance of a shower before 10 am, then turning partly sunny and warmer. High 60. A light SW wind.
Sunday night: Partly to Mostly cloudy with lows in the 40's.
