A piece has broken off from the main storm center, and so rain is in store for the night. The storm center will pass east of the Cape tonight. There may be a leftover shower Tuesday morning, but then dry for the remainder of the day. Wednesday is looking better and better with mostly sunny skies and temps in the mid 50's. Thanksgiving day will also be mostly sunny, with clouds arriving late day ahead of a major storm on Friday.
Thanksgiving week forecast:
Tonight: Rain, heaviest south of the city. Near steady temp around 45. NE wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.
Tuesday: A couple of showers before 10AM, then cloudy with patchy drizzle. High 48. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.
Tuesday night: Cloudy in the evening, then some clearing by dawn. Low near 40 in the city and 30's elsewhere.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, high 56. A light wind.
Thanksgiving day: Sunny for most of the day, then late day clouds. High 53.
Friday: Stormy with heavy rain and strong winds. Colder air will work in at the end of the storm- stay tuned for updates.
