World weather: Tropical Storm Grace has formed in the Atlantic. However, it is about 500 miles SW of IRELAND, moving rapidly in their direction. Maximum winds of 60 MPH., and it is moving NE at 31 MPH. The storm is expected to lose tropical characteristics as the storm gets absorbed by a cold front just off the Ireland coast tomorrow. However, wind and rain can still be expect in the British Isles over the next couple of days. Meanwhile, major typhoon Melor with winds of 155 MPH is expected to take a turn to the North and come dangerously close to Tokyo on Wednesday night (EDT). However, winds at that point are expected to be under 100 MPH. Still, precautions are already being taken because flooding rains and damaging winds are expected.
Local weather: This afternoon, isolated showers formed including one that formed just to the NW of Boston, then came right through the city at around 3 this afternoon. They formed because of a stalled front over southern Canada, then drifted SE. Tuesday will be nice, then a storm with rain and wind will come through on Wednesday.

Tonight: Clear, lows around 48 downtown, to 45 in JP, and the low 40's for the suburbs. West wind around 15 MPH.
Tuesday: Sunny, high 69. West wind of 10-20 MPH.
Tuesday night: Increasing clouds with showers likely after midnight. Low 50.
Wednesday: Showers, then cloudy after 1 pm. West wind of 10-15 MPH, increasing to 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH after the rain ends. High 63.
Wednesday night: Clearing out, and remaining windy. Low around 50. West wind of 15- 20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH in the evening, decreasing to about 15 MPH after midnight.
