Watching 2 systems

There is a low pressure center forming down by the Carolina coast. There is another one right behind it, over the SE states. The first storm is weak, and will pass well to the south of the region on Tuesday night. However, a shower may clip the south coast. Then on Wednesday the second, stronger system will approach and will provide the region with showers and a brisk NE wind on Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: A moonlit sky, with a low around 43 Downtown, 40 in JP and 34 in the coldest areas. Frost is possible in some of the interior suburbs.

Tuesday: Some sun early, then turning cloudy. A chance of a shower mainly on the south coast, but a sprinkle may sneak up to Boston. Cooler, high 56 in most areas. Light east wind.

Tuesday night: Cloudy with a risk of a shower early, then again towards dawn. Lows in the low 40's.

Wednesday: Cloudy with showers likely arriving on the south coast by late morning , then reaching Boston by 3 pm, and the north shore by the commute home. Cool, high 52. NE wind of 10-15 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH on the cape, and around 20 MPH elsewhere.

Wednesday night: Showers likely before midnight, then some clearing by dawn. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH on cape.

Extended: At this early stage Halloween looks mild and breezy, but with a chance of showers in the afternoon and evening. I will update throughout the week, so continue to check back for any changes. Also, don't forget to change your clocks back 1 hour on Saturday night.
