Frost Possible

High pressure has come down from Canada and will provide sunny skies for the next couple days. However, the wind will drop off tonight allowing for the temps to drop very quickly. Temps in the suburbs will drop into the mid and upper 30's, allowing for some isolated frost. Temps in major urban centers will stay in the 40's. 

Local alerts: Frost advisory for western mass, southern NH, VT and ME, excluding big cities.  Freeze warning for Northern New England. Please bring your plants indoors. 

Boston area forecast: 

Tonight: Clear. Low 47 downtown, 43 in JP, and as low as 35 in Norwood and other sheltered locations. Frost possible. 

Sunday: Sunny and nice. High 76. SW wind 5-10 MPH. 

Sunday night: Clear, low 48 in Boston and upper 30's to around 40 in most suburbs. 

Monday: Sunny, high 74. A bit warmer inland. Light SW wind turning to SE in the afternoon. 

Tropics: Still watching the remains of Fred, which is now about 500 miles North of the Bahamas. There is a low chance that it would re-develop in a Tropical Storm.  A storm centered way out in the Eastern Atlantic (1200 miles east of the Windward Islands)  has better chance of developing over the next couple of days.
