Record highs are possible on Monday as High Pressure remains in control. It will remain sunny and warm thru Wednesday before a strong cold front brings showers and a gusty wind on Thursday. Temps will cool behind the front.
Boston forecast:
Tonight: Clear with a low of 53.
Monday: Sunny with a high of 80. SW wind of 10-20 MPH. The record to beat is 82.
Monday night: Clear with lows in the mid 50's.
Tuesday: Sunny with highs in the mid 70's.
Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the upper 70's.
Thursday; Showers and wind early, then clearing. Highs around 60.
Friday: Sunny and much cooler. Highs in the low 50's.
Tropics: Hurricane Oscar now has winds of 75 MPH as it makes landfall along the coast of Cuba. It is forecast to move slowly over the Bahamas during the next few days before turning sharply out to sea from there.
