  A storm will bring a cold rain to the area on Thursday, mainly in the morning. Thursday night will be chilly, but skies will clear and temps will recover for the  weekend.

Forecast Update

A front will approach the area late on Wednesday leading to scattered PM storms. Then an area of low pressure will bring rain and cool temps on Thursday. It appears that it will be warm and sunny thru the upcoming weekend.

Storm Update

 The storm has arrived this evening with heavy rain, thunder and wind. It will continue over the next couple of hours before ending by morning. After a murky start Tuesday will be warm and sunny. Another system will approach by mid week.

 Sunday will feature more clouds and scattered showers and downpours. Then a frontal system will bring rain, thunder and wind to the area by late on Memorial Day. Memorial Day will  also be a much cooler day.

 A cold front will bring showers and storms to the area on Thursday. Then drier air will come into the area behind the front for the  weekend.

 Temps will spike over the next couple of days. First, on Tuesday fog will give way to sun and temps in the low to mid 80's. Wednesday appears to be the hottest day of this stretch with temps nearing 90. A strong cold front may bring severe storms by Thursday.

It now appears that Saturday will be cold, misty and drizzly along with scattered showers as an ocean storm backs in. Sunday will be chilly as well before a warmup early next week.

 Wednesday will be another warm day, but it will feature more clouds and maybe a shower Then an area of low pressure will bring rain and much cooler weather by Thursday. It will remain cool through the weekend.

A Warm Tuesday

 Tuesday will be our first real warm day along with sunny skies. As temps will rise into the 80's across most of the region. A front may bring a shower on Wednesday and Thursday,  but much of the time appears to be dry.

The Week Ahead

 Temps will finally warm over the next couple of days. On Monday skies will clear and temps will approach 70. By Tuesday temps will be well into the 70's along with increasing clouds and wind. The next storm will bring rain and wind on Wednesday.

An Improving Forecast

 It now appears that most of the rain on Friday will pass south of Boston allowing temps to rise a bit more than expected. As the  sun should return in the afternoon after a murky start. Saturday will be dry before a small chance for a shower on Mother's Day.

Severe Storms

 A series of fronts will bring showers and maybe even some severe thunderstorms to the area on Wednesday. First, showers and a few rumbles of are likely in the morning. Then severe storms should erupt in the afternoon possibly bringing hail as large as 1 inch! Thursday will likely also feature some showers before chilly rain by Friday.
