Stormy Saturday

 A powerful storm will impact the area on Saturday. It may start as a brief period of snow but will quickly change to rain. The rain will fall heavily at times and amount to a few inches. It should start to dry out by Sunday. 

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear and cold. Low 25. NW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 10 late. 

Friday; Mostly sunny with a high of 42. West wind of10-20 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 10 early. 

Friday night: Increasing clouds early, then rain and snow late. Lows in the low 30's. South wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Saturday; Any mix changes to heavy rain. Highs in the mid 40's. SE wind increasing to 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. No Snow accumulation expected in  the Boston area. 

Saturday night: Heavy rain. Lows in the mid 30's. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Total rainfall of 2-3 inches. 

Sunday: Turning partly sunny and windy. Highs around 40.

Monday; Sunny with highs in the 40's.
