Extreme heat will impact the area on Thursday. As temps will rise well into the 90's along with high humidity. That will lead to heat index values over 100! Friday is hot as well before a front comes into the region for the weekend leading to scattered showers and storms.

Boston forecast:
Tonight: Clear and stuffy. Low 75.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and humid. High 95. SW wind of 10-20 MPH. Heat index values as high as 104 possible!
Thursday night: Clear with lows in the mid 70's.
Friday: Partly sunny with highs in the low 90's.
Saturday: A shower or thunderstorm possible in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 80's.
Sunday: Showers with thunderstorms likely. Highs around 80.
Monday: A storm possible. Highs in the 70's. Stay tuned!
Hurricane Lee: Lee became a Hurricane today and is expected to intensify rapidly as it moves towards the Caribbean. Then it will turn NW and may make a very close pass to New England from the middle to the end of next week. Stay tuned for track updates over the next several days!!
