Hurricane Franklin is expected to strengthen into a major Hurricane and pass well offshore of the New England coast. However, a front will grab some moisture from the Hurricane and bring it up the coast into the area late Tuesday into Wednesday. And it may pass close enough to bring some wind as well.
Boston forecast;
Tonight; Partly cloudy with areas of fog. Low 60.
Monday :Mostly sunny with a high of 75. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.
Monday night: Increasing clouds with lows in the upper 50's.
Tuesday: Cloudy early, then rain late .Highs around 70.
Tuesday night: Heavy rain and some wind likely. Lows in the 60's. Stay tuned!
Wednesday: Rain early, then scattered showers late. Highs in the mid 70's. Look for my rain totals tomorrow!
Thursday; Clearing with highs in the upper 70's.
Friday; Increasing clouds with highs in the 70's.
