A strong backdoor cold front has brought thunderstorms this evening. Now, temps will fall dramatically behind the front for the weekend. On Saturday temps will start in the mid 50's only to fall into the upper 40's by the end of the day along with gusty winds and a passing shower. Then on Sunday a coastal storm will likely bring a wind driven rain and cold temps again.

A High Surf Advisory is in effect for the coast-including Boston for Saturday.

Tonight: Showers with thunderstorms. Low 55. Wind changing to NE at 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.
Saturday; Scattered showers and much colder. Temps near 55 early will fall to 48 by 5 PM. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.
Saturday night: Showers. Lows in the mid 40's. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.
Sunday: Periods of rain. Cold with highs in the low 50's. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Total rainfall of 1-2 inches.
Sunday night: Scattered showers diminish. Lows in the low 40's.
Monday; Showers possible. Highs around 60.
Tuesday; Showers likely. Highs in the 60's,
