Weekend Update

 Sunday will be a warmer day along with scattered showers and storms in the afternoon. Monday will also feature scattered showers before a more widespread system by Tuesday.

Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy with areas of fog. Low 70. 

Sunday; Partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Humid with a high of 85. SW wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy with any showers or storms ending. Lows in the upper 60's. 

Monday; Scattered showers in the afternoon. Humid with highs around 80. 

Tuesday; Rain and wind likely. Highs in the upper 70's. 

Wednesday; More showers possible. Highs in the 70's. 

Tropics: While TS Bret has fallen apart over the last couple of days TS Cindy has formed now in the Central Atlantic. It will turn NW and then north and may be worth watching by the end of next week, as it could make a close approach to New England. Stay tuned!

 Friday will be a muggy day along with a passing shower. More showers and storms are likely on Saturday as a storm system comes through.  Some drying is possible by late on Sunday.

Scattered Showers

 Clouds will increase on Thursday as a storm heads up the coast. Showers and storms will arrive by evening and will last through the extended  forecast.

Thursday; Increasing clouds with scattered showers and downpours. High 67. NE wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Thursday night: Showers with scattered thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 50's. South wind of 15-25 MPH.

Friday; Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Humid with highs in the upper 70's. 

Saturday: Showers likely and windy. Muggy with highs around 80.

Another Cool Day

 Wednesday will start out cool and temps will fail to reach 70 along the coast.  Thursday may start out even cooler and rain will arrive in the afternoon. Then the humidity will start to rise and temps will rise as well.

Tonight; Partly cloudy with a low of 55. 

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs near 67 in Boston and 73 inland. East wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday night; Clear and chilly. Lows in the low 50's in Boston and 40's in some of the suburbs! 

Thursday; Increasing clouds in the morning, then showers in the  afternoon. Highs in the mid 60's. 

Friday; Scattered showers and storms. Humid with highs around 80.

Saturday: Scattered showers and storms continue. Highs in the 80's. 

Sunday; Showers likely. Highs in the 80's. 

 Tropics; TS Bret now has winds of 45 MPH and is expected to strengthen a little more before entering the Caribbean sea. It is forecast to stay south of Puerto Rico, but stay tuned for any track updates!  

Improving Forecast

 Skies will slowly clear after a murky start on Sunday and temps should rise back close to normal. Then, most of the next week looks dry as well along moderating temps by midweek.

Tropics; A cluster of storms in the Central Atlantic is expected to be named over the next few days. It is forecasted to head WNW and make a close pass to parts of the Caribbean in several days. Stay tuned!

Tropics Update  A powerful Hurricane is expected to form over the next few days And it could threaten the Carribbean islands in a week or so. Stay tuned! 

Weekend Washout

 A storm will stall over the area for the weekend bringing inches of rain. The heaviest rain will fall on Saturday. However, more rain is now expected for Father's Day as well. And temps will remain well below normal.

 A storm will bring showers and downpours tonight into very early Tuesday morning before partial clearing comes into the area. Then on Wednesday another front will bring severe storms by afternoon. More wet weather is likely late in the week as well.

MT. Washington Weather; They have  had the most snow on record in June with over 8 inches of snow so far this month!

 Wildfire smoke will come into the area on Tuesday. That will lead to the smell of smoke and bad air quality. Then a cold front will spark scattered showers and storms on Tuesday afternoon. More unsettled weather will come into the northeast for the end of the week.

Dramatic Drop

 A strong backdoor cold front has brought thunderstorms this evening. Now, temps will fall dramatically behind the front for the weekend. On Saturday temps will start in the mid 50's only to fall into the upper 40's by the end of the day along with gusty winds and a passing shower. Then on Sunday a coastal storm will likely bring a wind driven rain and cold temps again.

A High Surf Advisory is in effect for the coast-including Boston for Saturday.
