Dangerous Cold

 An arctic outbreak will come into New England Friday into Saturday. The front will cross the area on Friday morning with scattered snow squalls. Then, the coldest air in decades to pour into the area. Temps on Friday will start in the upper 20's, but fall into the single digits by the end of the day. And the wind will gust as well making it feel well BELOW 0-even on Friday afternoon. By Friday night temps will fall well BELOW 0 and wind chills will drop to 30 to 40 BELOW in the area.

A Wind Chill Watch is in effect for all of the Boston area for Friday afternoon through Saturday

Boston forecast :

Tonight; Clear with a low of 20. 

Thursday; Partly to mostly sunny with a high of 40. SW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Thursday night: Clear early, then scattered snow squalls late. Lows around 15. NW wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Friday; Sunny and getting colder. Temps fall to 7 ABOVE by 5 PM. NW wind of  20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 20 BELOW late. 

Friday night: Clear and frigid. Windy with lows around 8 BELOW. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 35 BELOW!! 

Saturday; Sunny and frigid. Highs around 15. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 35 BELOW before 10 AM!! 

Sunday: Mostly cloudy and much warmer. Highs in the mid 40's.
