Fiona New England Impacts

 Major Hurricane Fiona will pass to our east on Friday. However, it will be close enough to bring some wind to the area. But, most of the rain will stay offshore. And waves will crash into our shores most of the  upcoming weekend. The storm will go on to slam Atlantic Canada with Hurricane Force winds and flooding rains.

A High  Surf Advisory is in effect for the Cape and Islands 

Boston forecast :

Tonight: Increasing clouds with a low of 63. South wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Thursday; Showers with thunderstorms. High 70. SW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Thursday night: Skies clear and cooler. Lows in the upper 40's. Wind changing to NW at 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Friday: Mostly cloudy and windy. Highs in the upper 50's. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Friday night: Clearing and windy. Lows in the mid 40's.Notth wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. 

Saturday; Sunny and breezy Highs in the mid 60's. 

Sunday ;Sunny with highs in the 70's.
