Ice Storm Update

A storm will will bring a mix o f snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain to the area. A major ice storm is possible in parts of Central and Western MA where over over a half an inch of ice. Closer to Boston a glaze of ice is possible.

A Ice Storm Warning is in effect for parts of Central and Western MA 

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Boston area 

Boston forecast; 

Tonight: Rain, sleet, snow and freezing rain. Low 32. East wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts tot 35 MPH. 

Monday; Areas of sleet,  rain and freezing rain. High 37. East wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.  Total ice amounts around a trace.

Monday night: Rain. Temps rising to near 40. 

Tuesday; Rain ending. Highs in the mid 40's. 

New Years Eve; Clearing with lows in the upper 20's. Stay tuned for my first night timeline!  

New Years Day; Sunny with highs in the mid 40's. 

Thursday; Sunny with highs in the 40's. 

Friday ;Rain possible. Highs in the 40's.
