A storm will bring heavy precip and strong winds to the area on Christmas Day. It now seems that most of it will fall as rain in Boston before ending as snow. However, an inch or 2 is still possible. Behind the storm arctic air will come into the area.

Christmas Day: A mix of snow, sleet and rain until 11 AM, then becoming mostly sunny. Windy with a high of 38. West wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Total snow amounts of 1-2 inches in Boston.
Monday night: Clear and cold. Lows around 18. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.
Tuesday: Sunny with highs in the upper 20's.
Wednesday: Some snow possible. Highs around 20.
Thursday: Sunny with highs in the teens.
Friday: Sunny with highs in the teens.
