Wild Tuesday

Rain will continue to fall overnight as temps rise to close to 60 by dawn. Behind the storm it will clear out, but it will be very windy. Wednesday will be more seasonable before more rain by late on Thursday.

Alerts: 

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for Boston and points north until midnight tonight.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for all of MA from 11 AM to 6 PM on Tuesday

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Periods of rain with scattered thunderstorms. Temps rising to 60 by 7 AM. South wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Tuesday: Becoming partly sunny and windy. Temps near 60 in the morning will fall to 53 by 4 PM. West wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.

Tuesday night: Clearing and still windy. Lows in the upper 30's. West wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the mid 40's.

Thursday: PM rain likely. Highs around 50.

Friday: Partial clearing with highs in the low 50's.
