Tropical Storm Joaquin

TS Joaquin has formed tonight with winds of 40 MPH well east of Florida. It will turn NW and then North over the next few days. And may threaten the east coast by the weekend. Before then a storm will come into the area on Wednesday leading to heavy rain and gusty winds. As the storm stalls offshore winds will become gusty by the end of the week.

Boston forecast :

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a low of 63.

Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers in the afternoon. High 80. SW wind of 15-25 MPH.

Tuesday night: Showers early turning to heavy rain late. Lows in the mid 60's. SE wind of 15-25 MPH.

Wednesday: Heavy rain. Highs in the mid 60's. NE wind gusting to 40 MPH possible.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy and windy with some rain possible.

Friday: Some showers likely. Highs in the 60's.

Weekend: Watching Joaquin. Highs in the 60's. Stay tuned!
