The Week Ahead

The front will continue to hang around the area through Tuesday. On Monday clouds and fog will break for some sun in the afternoon along with a risk of a shower. As the front finally crosses on Tuesday scattered storms will develop. Behind the front drier air will finally come into the area.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Low clouds and fog with mist and drizzle. Low 68. NE wind of 10-15 MPH.

Monday: Mostly cloudy with areas of fog and drizzle in the morning, then partly sunny with a passing shower in the afternoon. High 77. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Monday night: Mostly cloudy with areas of fog. Lows in the mid 60's.

Tuesday: Partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs around 80.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny and less humid. Highs in the low 80's.

Thursday: Sunny with highs in the 80's.

Friday: Sunny with highs in the 80's.

Tropics: TS Danny now has winds of 40 MPH as it approaches the Caribbean. And, another area is expected to develop in the Central Atlantic.
