Cold Front

An arctic front will cross the area on Thursday leading to scattered snow showers and squalls. Then another very cold Friday is in store along with gusty winds. Then a storm will come into New England over the weekend leading to a mix of precip.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Cape Ann for tonight.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Scattered snow showers. Low 20.

Thursday: Scattered snow showers and squalls in the morning, then mostly cloudy in the afternoon. High 25. NW wind increasing to 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Total snow amounts of a coating-1 inch likely.

Thursday night: Clearing and cold. Lows around 0. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 20 BELOW late.

Friday: Mostly sunny and windy. Highs around 15. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Wind chills BELOW 0 all day!

 Saturday: Increasing clouds with precip likely late day. Highs around freezing.

Sunday: The storm continues. Highs in the 30's. Stay tuned!
