The Week Ahead

On Monday and Tuesday a few scattered showers are possible in the afternoon as a weak area of low pressure hangs around the area. Wednesday looks dry before a storm comes into New England for the end of the week bringing more widespread rain.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear and chilly. Lows near 50 in Boston, 47 in JP and 43 in the suburbs.

Monday: Mostly sunny in the morning, then mostly cloudy with scattered showers in the afternoon. High 68. NW wind of  10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Monday night: Any showers fade to mostly cloudy skies. Lows around 50.

Tuesday: Sunny in the morning, then scattered showers in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 60's.

Wednesday: Partly sunny with highs around 70.

Thursday: Rain likely. Highs in the 50's.

Friday: More rain likely. Highs in the 50's .
