SPECIAL: 2013-14 Winter Forecast

This is a preview of the upcoming winter ahead. Last winter we saw above normal snow along with chilly temps. Some of the long range data this winter suggests less snow this winter. However, I am still expecting average snow and cold temps. And, my total snowfall is for the immediate Boston area.

Total Snow: 8 inches

Total Snow: 15 inches

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a low of 30.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy scattered rain and snow showers in the morning, then scattered rain showers in the afternoon. High 45. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Sunday night: Any rain showers end. Lows around 40.

Monday: Mostly cloudy with highs around 40.

Tuesday: Some precip possible as a storm makes a close pass. Highs around 40.

Wednesday: Clearing with highs in the mid 40's.

Thursday: Sunny with highs in the 40's.
