A Nice Weekend
High Pressure will come into the area for Saturday with sunny skies and light winds. Temps will remain in the 50's for both weekend days and clouds will increase on Sunday ahead of the next rain maker. Also, by Monday temps will rise to near 60 before the front comes thru.

Storm South
Sunday will be a bit warmer with temps reaching the mid 40's. Then a powerful storm on Monday afternoon will make a close pass to the area. Headed Home!
I am coming home for Spring break on Friday and looking forward to the party on Sunday! As for the weather temps will remain chilly thru the weekend. But, the storm on Saturday looks like a miss at this point. It will be sunny with temps near 40 for the party. The next major winter storm arrives on Tuesday.

Chilly Thursday
Colder air will come back into New England over the next several days. Thursday will feature a lot of clouds with a flurry around. As I come for spring break on Friday temps will hold near 40 with more sun. On Saturday a weak system may give us some wet snow. It looks like a dry day for my party on Sunday!

Drying Out
Rain will taper off tonight and dry air will come into the area on Wednesday. Again, temps will rise to near 50 with some sun. By Thursday temps will crash back below normal with a snow shower possible. As I come home for spring break temps will be near 40 on Friday with sunny skies.

Rain Tuesday
A front will cross the area on Tuesday night leading to rain across the area. And, some downpours may cause some minor flooding due to the snow melt. Then, colder air will come into New England behind the strong front with temps in the 30's on Thursday.

The Week Ahead
Mild air will continue to come into New England for the first half of the week. That means that the next storm will be rain on Tuesday as a cool front comes thru. Then, NW winds will lead to cold air behind the front.

Spring Forward
Daylight savings time is here and it is time to set your clocks ahead one hour before bed. That leads to a sunset at 645 PM on Sunday, but a sunrise around 7 AM. As for the weather, a sea breeze will develop on Sunday keeping temps near 40 in Boston, but close to 50 well inland. The next storm will be rain on Tuesday.

Snow Surprise
Well, the storm delivered much more snow than expected in the Boston area. In fact, some places came close to 2 FEET. The reason the snow piled up so much was because the storm stalled for much longer than anticipated off the coast. Also, temps were colder, allowing for more or a fluff factor. Now, the snow will melt away with temps rising into the 40's under the strong March sun

Snow Update
Waves of snow will lead to several inches of snow overnight. Snow will start to wind down by midday on Friday, but the winds will continue to gust throughout the day. And, coastal flooding will be major during the morning high tide. Then, a nicer weekend is in store with warming temps/

Storm Update
A powerful storm will effect the area over the next 36 hours. However, temps will be marginal for a snow event and some of the snow will fall during the day on Thursday cutting back on snow totals. It now appears that most of the snow will fall in the city overnight Thursday night. And, strong winds will create major coastal flooding in some areas.

Nor'easter Forecast
Clouds will continue to gather and the wind will increase during the day on Wednesday ahead of our next storm. A few rain or snow showers are possible during the afternoon, but the main event will wait to the overnight hours. Precip will fall heavily during the day on Thursday along with a gusty wind. Snowfall totals are very tricky because the rain/snow line will set up very close to Boston and the ground is relatively warm. However. heavier snow should be able to stick as temps drop.

Storm Thursday?
Tuesday will be another day with clouds around and temps near normal. Then a nor'easter will make a close pass to the area late on Wednesday into the day on Thursday. At this point an impact is likely, but the question is will it be a major hit or just a moderate storm. Either way strong winds with precip is likely-stay tuned as I get more data.

A weak area of low pressure will hang around the area leading to a lot of clouds and an scattered drop or flake. The sun will return early next week with temps holding near normal. Then, watching the potential for a major storm by midweek.
