Highs Today

Another hot day is in store for Thursday with temps coming close to 100! It will also be humid, making it fell well over 100. Then, a cool front will come thru on Friday with severe storms possible in the afternoon. Saturday will be cooler, but there is chance of more rain.

Logan: 97--record of 98 still stands.
Worcester: 92-record of 93 still stands

Alerts: A Heat Advisory is in effect for the Boston area from 11 AM to 7 PM Thursday.

Boston Forecast:

Tonight: Clear and muggy. Low 74.

Thursday: Hazy, hot and humid. High 98. West wind of 10-20 MPH. Heat index as high as 107 in the afternoon.

Thursday night: Clear and muggy. Lows in the mid 70's.

Friday: Partly sunny with storms likely in the afternoon. Still  humid with highs around 90.

Saturday: Showers possible in the morning, then drying out in the afternoon. Highs near 80.

Sunday: Sunny and less humid. Highs in the low 80's.

Tropics: TS Chris now has winds of 60 MPH as it moves away from land in the open Atlantic.
