A storm will come in from the west in pieces. While it appears that Boston will not get a lot of snow, it will still be a good storm. Determining the rain/snow line is very difficult with this storm as the warm east winds collide with cold air aloft. So, just a slight shift in conditions will make a big difference in snow totals.

Tonight: Increasing clouds with a low of 28.
Storm Timeline: Wed. thru Thurs.
Wed Morning: Increasing clouds.
2 PM: Snow arrives in Boston. Temp 36.
3PM-9 PM: Steady snow falls. Temp falling to 34.
9pm- 5AM Thurs: Snow will mix with and eventually change to rain. Temp 36.
6AM-2PM: Scattered rain and snow showers. Temp 38. Confidence is low during this time period.
3pm-9 PM: Another band of moderate snow is likely. Temp falling to 34. East wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.
10 PM: Snow ends.
SNOW TOTALS: Inches
2-4: The Boston area. About 3 inches in JP. Again-confidence is low.
