Happy Labor Day everyone and thanks for checking out my blog. A cool front will slowly move thru the area late Monday into Tuesday morning. Showers and storms are likely- but nothing severe. Then, drier and cooler air should come into the area for most of the week. We will have to watch Major Hurricane Katia by the end of the week to see how close it comes.
Boston, MA forecast:
Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy and muggy. Low 70.
Labor Day: A mix of sun and clouds with areas of morning fog. Muggy with a high of 83. SW wind of 15-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.
Monday night: Scattered showers until 10 PM, then showers with scattered thunderstorms. Muggy with lows in the upper 60's. SW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 25 MPH.
Tuesday: Showers with scattered thunderstorms in the morning, then mostly cloudy with scattered showers in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70's.
Wednesday: Clearing should come into the area. Highs in the low 70's.
Thursday: First day of school for BPS! Sunny with highs in the upper 70's.
Friday: Hurricane Katia will pass close to the area. Highs in the 70's. Stay tuned for more updates thru the week!
