Today the temp reached 90 degrees in Boston at 3 PM. However, this the last hot day I expect for a long time. Another pattern shift will start on Thursday, as a backdoor cold front will come down from Maine. Temps around Boston will be in the low 50's tomorrow afternoon, but will be near 90 in CT and points south and west of there. Then a strong cold front will come through Thursday night and Friday, providing us with showers. Thankfully, no more flooding is expected.
